Is it a computer? CJ7

So here is another question I should probably know-
On my 83 cj7 4.2 258- i removed the windshield fluid reservoir and coolant reservoir and found a square metal box with about 6 wires going into it. I'm pretty sure it's a computer for emissions- but does anyone know for sure?
I looked on quadratec and jcwhitney to find it, but no luck. Are they replaceable?

Found it- it's an ignition module.

yep it can be replaced the parts store just has to know if it is a blue or brown grommet on the bottom where the wires enter.
