I was looking around on ebay and came across this thing. Has anyone had any experience with one? Does it work? Is there any way it could harm your engine? Thanks, KJ

Looks kinda shady, it doesn't even show a picture of it or have a description in any way. I would save my money if I were you. Or you can be the official Jeepz.com tester and try it out!

i THINK its just a resistor that gets put in somewhere between a sensor and the ECU...

i'd never do it to my jeep

yeah its just a resistor on the mass air flow sensor or something...makes the engine thinks it needs more air, so it allows it and boom more horsepower...something like that...anyways...if you want a REAL performance part, replace your air filter with a sock..yes i said it a sock...im j/k...theres this wierd rash of ppl negro-rigging intakes with socks by where i live...i smacked my friend when he suggested it...

Reminds me of those little plastic fans people were selling that were supposed to produce MASSIVE gains, as I recall several ended up shearing apart and sending little pieces of plasic up the intake into the engine.

No, the tornado is a metal 'turbine shaped' insert that does not spin, it's still on the market. So much of this crap is Snake Oil it isn't even funny.
