But they are for a yj with a loop or a flat plate to latch to instead of the torx head bolt. In order to make them fit I had to fab my own striker for this other style of latch mechanism. I got the doors for 100 bucks on ebay, super duper cheap. The only negative (to my wife, not to me) is they are brown and my jeep is black. The kids love them, like I do.

I had some straps from when I built a shed a few years ago so I drilled them for the bolts and bent them to fit the door frame and hold the doors snug.

After some adjusting and some washers to space the piece out, it came out like this

And, the doors work great but I got done after the sun set so I have no pics of the doors installed.

If there are any mistakes, this was a very interesting thread creation from my phone so I'll make any fixes from home

Hillbilly workshop, life is good with a jeep.

Those look like Bestop paddles....good job on the strikers.I'm sure they"ll work fine.I had to do the same type of thing on a CJ7 a while back.

I'm watching this as I am thinking of Bestop soft doors for VEX only that down here along the border my top is off all the time, and hard doors as well, and thinking of have soft doors to throw in when I need doors and the windshield up.

Cool report and helpful.

i like them so much better then the hard doors. i also have full soft doors but i need to recover them. since i don't have a soft top that covers the back seats, i have to leave the hard top on because the kids. once i get a family roll cage, the hard top and doors will probably sit in the shed except for the one month a year when the temps go below the 50s here.
