Idle issue (?) 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Hi all, Steve here, brand new to site and forum.

I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport, straight 6, 265,000 miles and counting!

Having an issue; when I first start driving, regardless of weather, there's major hesitation; if I stop at a red light, it'll idle really rough, and actually push the Jeep forward, even with foot on brake. Once I get going, it disappears. If I were to turn it off and start driving again 10 minutes later, it'll do same thing.

Anyone have any experience/suggestions? Thanks!

Try removing the throttle body and all the attached sensors. Give the throttle body a good bench cleaning paying special attention to the IAC housing (attached to the TB with 4 bolts).
