I know were sick of tire questions but I have a rim one.

Hey all,

I know that some of you have heard that I was looking at 31 inch tires for my 03 TJ. I have settled on Kumho's that would be specs 31x10.5r15.

I have 15x7 wheels, will these fit this tire or do I need bigger wheels?

I appreciate your help, any and all.

Those will fit just right! On a 7 inch rim, you will be able to drive safely down the road, then when nature calls (the other nature) and you head to go wheelin you can safely air down to about 15 psi and not worry about throwing a bead.

It is possible to run them on a 8 inch rim but I would avoid it!

As for those kumho tires. If they are the MT's, I have gotten about 35K miles on them and they have plenty of life left! I would recomend these tires! I was gonna get them when I got 33's but were a bit too expensive.

Thanks for the reply. I am in fact looking at the Mt's. My jeep is the only vehicle I drive so I'm torn between an a/t or m/t but I do love the look of the venture MT's. I think I'm going to window shop nest week. :mrgreen:

they will fit just fine, i have 31" kumho m/t's on 15x7 rims, no problems here. and you can save the money you were gonna pay for new rims and get some other goodies for you jeep!!!!
