The .......I guess ball and socket that holds my mirror in place is loose. Does anyone know of a way to tighten that up?

Never Mind.......... I found two screws under the mirror and tried to tighten them and the mirror broke rite off..... Landed on the ground..... I said..." Well, I'll be darn"

those stock mirrors suck after a few years. you can't tighten that ball and socket because its plastic and wears away. on the wife's, i poured glue into the socket and set it where her and i could both see. swap your mirrors to ones from a newer jeep. the new style mirror went back to using the good ol style of adjusting the mirror so it will never flop around like those ones.

Think im going to go with the old CJ style Mirror.....Back to basics
