How to know if i have abs

HELP!!! I bent my 98 tj front axle and I am looking for a replacement and need to know if it has ABS or not.The front differential is a dana 30 geared at 3.73. The vin is 1j4fy19s3wp718858. Any help asap would be greatly appreciated!! Thank You!!!

Have you put you VIN into the decoder on the site? I learned a lot that I didn't know about my Jeep.
The quickest no hassle way is.... next time it rains drive at 30 mph and stand on the break if it locks up into a skid you don't have abs.

Lol I don't think he will be driving till he replaces his front axle

Look at the axle and if you have a wire the size of a pencil going to each wheel attached to the knuckle then you have ABS. Also look around the master cylinder and see if you have a pump. Even if you find an axle without, unless it's a vacuum disco axle, you can swap shafts and sensors over. Most shafts after around 96 have tone rings anyway so all you'd have to do is bolt the sensor at the end of the wire to your knuckle.

the wire on the caliper area is the easiest way to tell. there should be a notched ring the sensor that wire goes to reads off of also. follow the brake lines from the master cylinder and if they go into a weird box thing and then out to the rest of the jeep, that is your abs pump. if they just go straight from the master cylinder out to the wheels then you don;t have it

They all have the light and some even come on when you first start it even when they don't have it.
