Good morning to everone, this my first time in Your beautiful site. Sorry for my schoolastic english but i write you from Italy. My question to the Expert is : i have a wrangler tj 97 4.0 strokered to 4.6 ( Hesco engine kit, plus oil pump, ARP bolts, water pump....) with 280 hp dyno tested and logically a lot of torque more. Now i have a Rubicon Express 4,5" short arm , with Currie JJ and 2 " of body lift. I have rear Rock Jock Aluminium 60 (4.56 gears) and front Dana 44 with Superior 30 spline inner axle, CTM, Warn Premium CJ Hubs. I 'd like to buy a Long Arm heavy duty system complete to be more possible bolt on : i saw Teraflex LCG max that seems really complete and looks good tha eliminate trac bar rear and front ( i call Panhard ?? ), with new knuckle so is possible to put high steering ( include in the kit). Other possibility is Fabtech ? But i saw really intersting the tri-link in the RE 4,5 Heavy duty kit:mad: So before buying and shipping to Italy i kindley ask you whitch kit is better kit accoding to you ( max 5 ). Here we do not do Rock crawling ( no stones.:x ) but a lot of mud, lateral and steep mountain. Thanks a lot to every single help you could give me

Sorry but i have forgot : i use bogger 35 10,50 16 tyres or TSL Q 78

The Tera Flex LCG system will remove the front and rear track bar and give you more anti squat due to the tri linked front and rear. With there system you can run there bellie pan kit giving you an extra 1 inch in the center section.

The Fab Tec system runs a tri-linked rear end and a dual link with adjustable uppers connected to the lower control arms. you still have to run a Track bar in the front and or a relocator bracket if you plan on running a high steer kit.

We have both lift kits in our little group here in Utah, both perform well and as of yet no problems with either. Personally I like the Tera-Flex kit due to the fact that both tri-links are connected to the frame at separate points.

I have owned a Tera-flex long arm kit for over 6 years now and have had no problems. Max who has just recently installed his LCG (3 months) has had no complaints Although installation was more difficult due to the fact you have to remove the factory location brackets from the frame and support the transmission during the installation process(note a plasma cutter works great here). Troy who owns the Fab-Tec kit has had none either, he had his professionally installed not wishing to loose his jeep the four days we took to install Max's kit.

Thaks a lot for the details. And the Rubicon Express long arm ?

The same as the Fab-Tec kit, if you do the tri-linked rear.
I still don't like the dual front control arms and the upper control arms connected to the lowers.
I do own there track bar for my jeep after going through three track bars from two different manufactures.

Any off-roading puts a lot of stress on your jeep, and not having at least a tri, or a four link suspension in my opinion is just asking for it. And in mud ??
I am not sure, you need to ask some east coasters here but in rocks your front axle works harder than your rear does, since it takes the first hit on the rock, going up and down. And that is where I see a lot of dual link systems fail.

Ok sorry but some words are for me not so usual to understand. 1Ihave understtod that is better 4 link LA than tri link with lower arms connected with upper( like RE tri linkor fabtech)2 According to you i'd buy Tera LCG MAX ( not fabtech or RE trilink) that is 4 link (?)or RE 4,5 LA 4 link system standard. Thanks a lot
