Help with my 1979 Jeep J10

Just bought a 1979 J19 v6 for $300. The previous owner's son was pulling their dock out and blew out the clutch. My question is to know if it's possible to remove the transmission without pulling the engine? Master cylinder and slave are in good shape, I found a good clutch kit and am planning on doing it myself.

I have done a few cj,s without pulling the motor. unbolt the drive shafts from the tcase, support the trans and drop the xmember the trans is bolted to, then unbolt the bellhousing from the engine and the trans, bell, and tcase will pull out. It will be heavy with the tcase still bolted to it, mine was but I did it by myself with a floor jack.

Oh, don't forget to take off your shifter tower and tcase shifter and disconnect you speedo cable
