Help W/ Sensors

Does anyone know what the general signs & symptoms of a bad MAP sensor and a bad O2 sensor? how would i be able to tell which one is bad ( refer to my prior post "95 Laredo 4.0")

What does your exaust look like? Do you have rough idle? Poor acelleration? What it is doing?
If you have never replaced the o2, you might want to go ahead and do it anyway since it is part of routine maitnance. It that doesn't work I would check the MAP or the Air charge Temp Sensor (screws in the intake manifold). All three of these sensors will measure the air/fuel mixture. I would trust the computer, change the o2, and then run another diagnostic. I had a '94 ZJ with o2 code and it ended up being the o2 and the air charge (regulates air intake temp).

idle goes back and forth rough then fine then rough same with acceleration but more hesitation and wanting to stall than anything noway to check muffler its a new one

Did you ener change the o2 that was making the check engine light come on? Does it act that way all the time or only before it gets warm? What color is the smoke coming out the back?
