My 87 yj jeep wrangler has the sport bar . I've been seeing online connectors what exactly are they ? Do they just connect from the sport bar I have to the windshield to add another bar???

On ebay they are labeled as jeep wrangler roll bar extentions

is your roll bar hooked to the windshield? on wranglers, they are so maybe its just making yours like ours?

These bars are the extensions that connect your sports bar to the window frame. In essence it stabilizes your windshield frame. Without a floor to extension type of support this really doesn't add that much more protection since its screwed to the windshield frame.
