so i have a 2000 jeep cherokee sport with the 4.0 liter inline 6 that most everyone has. my jeep has a knocking problem but only now and then. i believe i have been told that it was the cam position sensor? does this sound right?? it only knocks when it starts up every now and then. its kind of a rare thing but maybe once a month at best. if i give it gas it will eventually get back on timing and fix itself. it makes sense to me if it was the cam position sensor or crank sensor. so please help and give me some feedback!!:???:
