help me identify a Jeep I saw this morning!

Ok, I saw this Jeep this morning. It looked like a CJ, possibly early 80's. But the back area was alot longer than a CJ, YJ or whatever. Plus the doors were the coolest! They looked like soft doors or plastic, plus there was a little window on the bottom half of the door. It looked really cool. I drove past and was totally staring at it in awe and wonderment. The driver looked at me and waved so I returned the wave. It just looked like a "normal" Jeep but with a longer rear end. HELP![addsig]

CJ6 or CJ8, the 8 was the only long CJ made in the early 80's. Main difference is the door openings, with the CJ8 having lower door openings like the CJ7, YJ, and TJ. THe CJ6 lower door openings are narrow like the CJ5. The CJ6 is much more rare.[addsig]
