heat trouble

well... yesterday... i started overheating terribly, and my heater would blow cold air... so, first guess would be to change the thermo... well.. done it is, changed out fine... i checked the old thermo in some boiling water, and it would just crack open a tiny tiny bit, so that showed me that it was not working properly... results were good... temp never got above 200 for the rest of the day and today, and my heat blew hotter than ever.

then tonight... i get up in the woods where i hang out at night to get some solitude... it was a little chilly out, so i had the heat on when i left the house, goin good, goin good.... i get in the woods, head back to my spot, get there, temp is up to about 230 and the heater is refrigerating my jeep... i KNOW the thermo is good, it is a day old and worked fine yesterday... i KNOW the system is full, i filled it yesterday and checked it today.

when i took the old thermo out, it was nice and clean, no gunk, so i dont think there is too much floating around in there....

what do we all think... radiator, heater core?... how do you suggest i flush it?

nem-mind... pinhole in the heater hose... all set... runnin at 200, and the heat is blowin like a mofo
