Just replaced the Manifold on the 4 banger and also replaced the heat riser tube but it is in bad repair. I understand that you want cool air in the breather for best preformace. What is the reasoning behind the hot air to the breather anyway. Am thinking about getting rid of the whole heat riser deal and holding open the valve on the bottom of the air box for the extra air inlet area. Any Thoughts? tug[addsig]

If your talking about what I think your talking about it is to help the engine warm up on cold starts so not so essential in the summer but helpful in the winter. Hope that helps Evan :) [addsig]

I took my heat exchanger off and never had a problem. Hot or cold and it was cold up here in Jersey this winter.[addsig]
