headlights dont work

my headlight only work with brights...
y do this happen? idk
ive checked the connections there good
checked the back of the lamp (where it connects to wiring) all is fine but idk y the normal headlights dont work
its 4 a 92 jeep yj

got to get it fixed ppl keep getting mad at me and flashing there lights

Check the switch. If you have high beams but not low, chances are the switch contacts for the low beam is at fault.

Get a new headlight switch, most parts stores carry them.

on a side note if you have additional lights like driving or fog lights check that theres a relay installed for them. the contacts in the switch are rated for the lights only so any additional load can cause the switch to burn out. (been there done that)

You probably had a power pulse that blew out the low beams. Given they are the same age, going out at the same time isn't unusual. Jumpstarts will often blow them out too.
