Heading out

I'm departing on my 400 mile trip to Hot Springs tomorrow morning. We are going to hit the town tomorrow night and the trails on Saturday and Sunday. The weather is not supposed to break 90. It should be a great weekend.
I hope to get some pictures up next week.
Check out the Multimedia if you get a chance:

My wife and I thought about going up there this weekend. Now I wish we had booked it. Lookin forward to the pics. Have fun.

I left my camera at home this morning. This one was e-mailed to me by another driver. Teaser:

I took more video than pictures. I will see what I can do with the video. I'm trying my hand at copying and editing.

BTW...The park is definitely worth the trip. I would go every weekend if I could. We rode two days straight and did not see 1/4 of what was there.
I hope that someone will come up with pictures of me on a trail called Impossible. Out of 5 diamonds, it was a 6 and could have stood two more. It was the nastiest thing I have ever seen. It made me want to go home. After saying a short prayer, I put the hammer down and we conquered it unassisted. I'm counting my blessings and will never get back on that one again. Once is enough.

We were a little north of you, wheeling and canoeing in the MO Ozarks.

Your description of "Impossible" sounds very inticing, well, maybe as a spectator ;)

Met quite a few folks from Lousiana there. I don't know what clubs they were with though. One guy in particular was driving a K5 with an exocage and said Colorado K5 on the windshield.

The only Carnage all weekend was a fuel pump and u-joint for Rickey Bobby. I thought that was good considering the trails we ran.

Still working on the video. I didn't realize how many stinking adapter cords and programs there are just to hook the thing up to the computer. It's kind of ridiculous.

Yeah. I never met the guy before this weekend. He liked the skinny pedal and his name is Bobby, so...

I also forgot to mention that despite getting rained on heavily the evening before, my new Alpine CD player performed flawlessly. I forgot how nice it was to hit the trails with some blue grass echoing through the trees. Maybe it will last more than two rides.
