head replacement

will the heads on a1971 D-100 w/318 c.i. fit on a 96 Grand Cherokee 318c.i.

I dont't know about the fitment but since the 71 would have been a Carburated vs. the 96 that's fuel injection, i would think that there would be some difference with the Ports or possibly the valves as well for fuel delivery reasons. Just my ASsumption.

Thank you for your input, I didn't think about the carb/F.I. I'm new to this forum, and I'll try to help when I can.
