Have any of you installed any aftermarket taillight guards? DeeZee and Manik made some and you can still find them to fit the old body style XJ and I found a set from Manik on clearance. To start with, they mount on the inside of the tailight assembly, the self taping screws go into the plastic housing to make a real flimsy mount, but best of all, this set would not clear the rear hatch to close. I started to break out the grinder and decided to see if any of you have delt with this before. I still can get my hands on some made by DeeZee but I wonder if those will have the same problems?
