Has anyone experienced intermittent heater fan problems?

I purchased a new Liberty Renegade in June of 2007, and about 4 days after delivery, the blower motor for the fan just quit working. I took it to the dealer, who said they did a software reset on the module. It worked fine until Christmas Eve, when it suddenly stopped for about another 36 hours, when it suddenly started up again. I spoke with my dealer, whom indicated this was the first report of this type they had received. It's further complicated as the problem cannot be replicated, but I am quite nervous about taking a trip anywhere for fear it will happen again. Has anyone else experienced something along this line, or have any ideas as to the cause or the fix?

When it occurs, wiggle the blower motor wiring connector as well as the resistor block connector. If one or the other makes it go back on, inspect it for any heat damage from a poor connection.

Correction, 06-07 was the only ones that had a recall on the blower motor. Recall# G03
This recall applies only to the above vehicles built through August 15, 2006
(MDH 081523). Besides that, the 08 model is a KK body and none of the KJ platform was carried over.
