Has anyone done an LS swap??

Am looking to do a LS swap into my tj. I am putting a 04 5.3 eng. And trans and transfercase. I will be using the chevy harness and computer. I am doing all this for two reasons. Fuel miledge and towing. Has anyone else done this and what pointers could u give and/or help things to look out for. Such as drive shaves length position of engine ect. Any help or feed back would be appreciated.

google will be the most help on this. a number of people have done it already so you will find tons of info but i don't think it will help on your towing deal. its not that the 4.0 cannot tow, its that the wheel base is so short the trailer starts whipping you back and forth on the highway

I am in the process of doing it and so is my neighbor. He has a cj7 I have Tj I have my eng trans transfer harness and comp. I am trying to sell my 4.0 and trany to finish it

Also novac sells the bolt in or weld in engine mount that puts the engine where it needs to be.
