Hard to start...

changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. want to change the deal in the distributor under the rotor with the wire to the coil, maybe it will help. it turns over for a while before it starts. any ideas :?:
 
air filter plugged up, fuel pump not putting out enough PSI, partaly pluged fuel filter would be where I looked next if it were mine.
 
Its a 94 yj with a 4.0 6cyl.
And Ill change the fuel filter here in the next week. air filter has been changed. pump is what Im waiting to see. It runs like a champ after it starts.
 

Try leaving the key in the 'run' position for 5sec before cranking.
 
if that helps then your little check valve in the fuel line is bad so your pump is having to pressurize the whole system each time you start the jeep. i bet bounty hunter is right and that is your trouble
