Man what a great way to spend a few hours this afternoon with my son!
The Great Race made a stop in my town today and are spending the night here, headed into New Mexico tomorrow. We were there at the finish line when they came in this afternoon and it was awesome. The teams are so nice, they all can't wait to talk about their cars, some of them were 70 year old automobiles!
To see some of those flat head ford V-8s and Studebakers was really neat. My son got to sit in a few of them. One of the most impressive racers was a Peterbilt chassis with an Abrams tank engine!
