grand wagoneer rims

My buddy has an 85 grand wagoneer with dana 44's. I have a set of 35x14.5x16.5 tsl radials that I might hook him up with. I dont know much about wagoneers, what size rim is usually used? Would 16.5's work? Any suggestions on cheap 16.5 inch rims?

look @ US Wheel steel wagon wheels. i got 15" ones for 36.50 a rim from summit racing (www.summitracing.com) they've got just about every size and bolt pattern imaginable. and yes 16.5's would have to work, they're the only size rim that will fit your tires.

How is he fitting a 35x14.50 on a Grand Wagoneer? Is he cutting the rear wheel opening and the back doors?

I'm not to sure. He's only lifting it 5.5 inches. He was supposed to get 33's but he has his mind set on 35's. It should be pretty interesting, we're probally going to do some trimming. Oh well atleast I'm getting rid of the set of tires that have been sitting in my basement haha.
