Got Herculiner, Got question

I finally got the nerve to go pick up the Herculiner kit today. As for the prep work, I have heard you guys have many opinions on what cleaner to use. What is the best one for a good price available at auto stores or Wallmart? (Xylene, acetone, etc)?

I hope this Herculiner stuff works out for me. I have tried that other cheap brand before and hated it. But all I hear about Herculiner is that it is good.

I would go with either of the above mentioned or even laquare thinner. Just scrap sand wash and vac it out and then wipe it down really good. Then let the cleaner of your choice have time to dry real good prior to your starting with the roll on work. tug

ive heard Xylene xylol , what ever it is, works best.

I used it when id id mine, and have had no problem with my herculiner at all.

Looks like I will just go ahead and pick up some Xylene Monday. Anyone know if Autozone sells it?

Xylene is what the Hercy recommends, and is readily available. Be sure to keep it off your hootus
