Only the 4 cylinder manuals came with a hydraulic clutch in a CJ. I beleive the Girling was OEM for the 4 bangers. I'm going to use the same setup when I drop my 350 in.

Lucas Girling is a pretty large brake/hydrolics manufacturer. Triumph etc. Search Lucas Girling, they have an online cataloge.

thanks for the insight. :) found out that the last owner was petite and had the hydro installed at the ,dare i say "dealer". will go to them for parts.

Just put a 350 chevy in my '78 model CJ7. I switched to a hydraulic clutch. I used a Wilwood slave and master cyl . The master cyl. said "Girling" on it. Was advertised as a Girling style??????????????????

I also bought a steel braided line kit for it from "Longacre".

Total cost $141, including shipping.
