eng6driver New member Mar 18, 2011 #4 I am told that the 97 TJ's with the towing package and 30'' tires came with 3.55's. Does that sound accurate??

Jesse New member Mar 18, 2011 #6 My 98 wrangler had 3.73 stock, and it was the manual 4.0. A good way to know for sure is to check the front & rear diff covers to see if it has a tag that will tell you what the ratio is.
