gear box

hi all I have a Cherokee sport 2.4 2002 and need to change the gear box oil as with the diff`s, but can not find how much each will take ? I have also been looking at all the different oil`s on the market can you guy`s recommend what oil`s I should use ? As the hand book give`s you no help and the dealer ship`s well might as well hang my self.

plan on 2 qts for each... you will have some left over.... i use valvoline.... and have had good luck with it.... at that age 02" i wouldn't spend my money on the high end stuff.... does it take gl3 or gl5... 3 is real oil, 5 is blended, or full syn oil...
