up on anilizing the situation, I discovered there was some rubbers missing .

Then you need to find the lube that preserves the rubber, rub it in thorughly but gently. Your rubber well last for a long time.

I cant think of the name of it, but I used that grease on o rings when putting water pumps to geather.

None of my water pumps ever worked, but that's the grease I used .

Walmart, Target, most and drugstore/pharmacy

Keep them clean. Many chemicals will degrade them.

White Lithium grease?
Vacuum grease?
Marine grade purple?





If you meant ball joint rubber seals. Rock auto. But check for play. It may be time to replace the ball joints anyway. Once the seal is hone they wear quick.
