Looks like a good time man! My uncle is a captain of one of our local fire departments.

We have different ideas of a good time. The only case where fire is involved in my good times is when I'm holding a marshmallow over it.

I'm thankful there are people willing to put out fires though.

I miss those days. Best 3 years of my life was when i was a volunteer f.f. Now im going to school studying criminal justice to become a cop.

^^You spent three years with a FD, saw how wonderful that job can be and still ended up going to the dark side.
fireman32 where do you work?

lol i have wanted to do both ever since i was little. i did the fire fighting thing up until i moved to utah. i looked into it out here but i didn't want to go through paramedic classes since they require it most places here. plus becoming a cop i get a charger and a gun

south ga, about 150 miles s of atlanta, work full time 24/48 at the dept. and work at a body shop on the side, our city has condemned around 150 houses and we got volunteered to burn them down to save landfill space. we have done 9 so far. hope it stays cold awhile

I am a full time FF/PM, second largest dept. in the state. Over here EPA makes it difficult to have practice burns. But we average a structure fire (not including car, dumpster, or un-attached garage) every 31 hrs. we too work 24/48.
