Fuel pressure regulator

I have had two fuel pressure regulators began spraying gasoline on my engine within the past three months. One was a Purolator the other NAPA but they appear to be exactly the same. I need a regulator for my new Weber carb. Are there better on the market? Has anyone had the same problem? I don't want to burn up a great 83cj7. :-? [addsig]

I got one from Summit racing. It is made by either holley or Edlebrock. It was around $100. The reason it was so pricey is because it ranges from 1-27 PSI. It is a fairly simple setup that diverts the unwanted PSI from your pump back to the tank via the fuel return line. No modifcations necessary, just have to mount the little bugger somewhere near the carb. I have a weber and dialed my regulator down to around 3PSI. I have 20 something coming in from the electric fuel pump. That is why I had to buy the more expensive regulator. Why the Electric fuel pump you ask? that is a looong story.

hope that helps
