front main eye spring bushing

HI guys, putting 2.5 lift on today and ran into trouble with that bushing. What store would have one for a descent price?

Go to a hardware store and have them cut you a piece from black pipe normally used for natural gas.

What exactly do you need? Didn't the lift come with new bushings and sleeves for the leaf springs?

No, I bought Jeepenstein's old springs. He has springs with add a leafs and had them rearched to 3". Free is nice!!! He had poly bushings in them but one was messed up. I finally got my screwup out of the spring (after 30 + minutes of torching) and bought a new bushing a store. What I did was tried to use my old bushing, but it got stuck half way in. :x But after putting a torch to it and a vice, BAM it came out. Hopefully this new bushing goes in fine. I'll let you know....Thanks

don't the stock main eyes have a round metal peice incorporated into the bushing or something? I think mine did if my memory serves me correctly.

Yes, it has a metal sleeve with it on the outside. I got that problem out of the way finally, I have one more spring to put on. BUt it is waiting till tomm.
She looks so nice sitting higher!
