I'm shocked they didn't give it to another asian model. Real shocked.

KIA??? what were the standards?

To win the 4X4 of the year category you must:
  • Advertise heavily in the publications owned by the people giving the award
  • take them to remote parts of the world on expensive adventures to use your rig
  • wine and dine and wine and dine
  • Generally speaking, not be anything with an American heritage

as you can tell, I'm not real fond of how the award has went over the past 5 years or so.

When they gave to the Honda Ridgeline..

Y'all had to get him started, didn't you 8)

Yeah the award doesn't mean much really... we all know Jeeps are the best anyhow.

I'm surprised the Dodge Power Wagon has never made it on that list. It's a pretty cool truck.

Well, 5 of the top trucks are American. I guess that debunks the conspiracy theory.

Kinda balances out with Peterson's who gives it to a Jeep almost every year. They should really just fill them up with gas and beer, run them from trail to trail and the last one standing wins. Kinda like the Ultimate Adventure for new trucks.
