That's my buddies cj7 outlined and me holding the hose trying to wet stuff down. 0330 this morning we got awoken by the local vfd. He needs some plastic parts and seats now and my softopper is melted.

The jku was far enough it received no damages.

The aftermath.

Wow! Everyone ok?

Any idea what started it?

Two houses down called it in because they were engulfed in smoke. No idea on what caused it but I think the car the grandson was rebuilding burned up after he installed the engine, trans, wiring, and battery last night at midnight. You can see it in the pic from this morning. Nothing else has changed to cause a fire in any wiring or anything for the garage or house they live in. He had been working on that car for months now, trying to bring it back. It was a little Honda he has owned since he was 17 or so.

It's a sorry sight that hurts inside when people or personal property is lost in any tragedy .
I pray everyone escaped harm and no one was lost , I just hope everyone's alright.
Special thanks to all who came to the aid of the family(s) who suffered from this tragic fire.
Hope I got guys in my neighborhood like you SuperJ who would do what they can to save who they can . God remembers that .

no one was hurt. i feel bad for the lady next door though, it was their second fire in 10 years. the first one burned their house to the ground. this one was the garage.

We're all relieved no one was hurt . God is great . Thank you God. It is most unfortunate how she lost her home and now this. I'm guessing something more in the way of fire prevention needs to be considered to hopefully prevent this again , but it would not be any different for anyone of us.
