Went to the local Elk Lodge earlier this week where Cummins Tools was having a truck load sale. Had this "Farm Jack" for $30.00 and mounted it to my rear roll bars. its the standard 48". Cant remember who posted the ideas for mounting but the 2 1/2" muffler clamps worked great on the base side. On the opposite side I actually used the crappy brake line relocation bracket with the muffler clamp I got with my RC lift, it was curved perfect. I like it, its Blue and yellow rather than your standard colors.

Lube it up good and get it broken in. When you need it is no time to get it worken smooth. tug

Hey, it works, who cares. I kinda like the color difference. Not for nothing, but a "real" Hi-lift has a different "top" where you can attach a chain to use it as a come-a-long or another pulling tool.

But again, who cares, if it lifts, awesome!!!!

It actually did come with a top bolt on piece, I put it back on after I mounted it. couldnt pass it up for the money. Just hope it pulls through when I need it.

My father-in-law has that same exact jack, he's used and abused it for years and never had any problems. Looks really good especially since your jeep is blue as well.

I bought a farm jack too. I got mine from Harbor Freight. I think mine was $25. You can't beat it for the price, and I've had no problems with mine. Great minds think alike!

Hi-Lift is nothing more than a brand name. My Dad used the same type of Jack to bundle tobacco WAY back in the day. He refuses to even call it a "Hi-Lift" he calls it an equipment jack, which it is. what you have is no weaker than the brand name. good call.

One small tip is to put wing nuts on your mounts so that you don't have to dig around for a wrench every time you need the jack.

where did you get that mount? i wanted to mount my hi-lift that way but couldnt find any mounts...can you give me a write up or a link to one of those mounts?

more 4wd questions

Just get some 2 1/2 inch muffler clamps or use the small 2 1/2 inch "ubolts" you can find at the hardware store with the plate at the bottom- will need the plate for the top end of the jack.

hey man how big is that u bolt you are using to hold the top on? im using some big chain to hold it in place for now

Its actually the same 2 1/2 inch muffler clamp that I used for the top. Just needed a strip of metal to hold it on since it only goes through the lift with one end. See the pics - I used the brake line relocation bracket.

any 2 1/2 inch ubolt will work just make sure its long enough. hope this helps.
