Fiberglass windshield frame

What is the best way to mount the side bars of the roll bar to the windshield frame?
The old frame was metal and had mounting holes for the bar. Could I drill and tap into fiberglass or just use self tapping screws?

The body has a lot of flex and I think you're setting that windshield frame up for failure if you mount the spreader bars to it.

Buy a Smittybuilt front cage for a CJ7, it includes a front hoop and spreaders.
