Exhaust opinions

So, after I do some lighting upgrades this winter, I'm leaning towards a beefier exhaust. Just trying to make a little more power for not too much money, plus there's the bonus of some extra rumble. There's obviously tons of brands out there, so I guess I'm just looking for a little direction on who's got the good products, also what parts should be replaced for the best effect, etc. Thanks fellas.

For the Jeep I6 I would recommend a 2.5" 40 series Delta Flow muffler and 2.5 from the cat back. For the I4, 2.5 from the muffler back.
I'm doing mine myself. I will buy the front loop and fab back from there . . .mine has no cat, 2.5" all the way out with no muffler at all. If I don't like it, I'll add a flowmasteer later.

Thanks for the input... now, is installing this muffler gonna be something reasonably easy to do myself? I'm not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but I've managed to squeak through most of the repairs on my last three vehicles.

Usually it's more difficult to get the old one out than put the new one in.... A recip saw or cut off tool helps out lots.

They sell all the 90's, 45's etc., you'll ever need, bending them yourself is not the way to go unless you are equiped and experienced. But there are kits for everything these days that will bolt up (don't even need a welder in many cases). I like mine welded fast and tight. But I agree with Wrangler76 most of your problems will be getting the old crap OFF and out of the way. Hack saw, and a sawzall handy is a good idea.
