electrical problems...

RE: huge lift springs

ok since the engine change...i have an electrical problem...

my parking lights are on all the time...luckily i have a battery kill switch under the dash...maybe someone had the issure before i dunno...

not all the time really...just now and then...last ngith i drove to the store and came home and shut down...they were off...then i pressed the brake pedal they came on...and stayed...

so i'm thinkin my grounds are good or i would not get lights at all...unless jeep uses ground to shut things off...which would be different all together...

i think maybe i have circuit that is hot all the time...such as the break circuit...that is somehow powering the parking lights...i dunnow how it would...but it seems logical to think since they were having an effect on them last night...

this was not happening before the enginge rebuild either...only after i put it back in

If you pull up on the brake pedal, do they shut off? It sounds more like the brake pedal isn't releasing the signal to shut them off. Try wiggling the brake pedal and see if that triggers the lights on/off.

I'm having the same "problem" with my parking brake, but if I pull up on the pedal the "brake" light goes out.

Just a thought...

I feel the need...

yeah it does...but the dash lights come on and the front turns signals do to...and the sidemarkers...

You have an 'open**' in the light switch itself.

Change the light switch unit first and that should do it.

If trouble remains, change both the flasher and emergnecy and brake fuse cans in the fuse panel
