Found my bug. Need to know how to unhook wire harness from firewall. What's the trick?

Is it the harness that goes to the fuse box?

Yes sir. Just below and between the booster and clutch master. Can't see a bolt there like on my cj. There are two wire grouped rectangle shaped one above one below. Not in a block but an assembly 2 1/4 x 3 inches or so. Nothing in any of my books on getting it loose.

According to the FSM im looking at, there should be a single bolt retaining the outer half of the bulkhead/ fuse block connector. The inside half of the fuse block is retained on the body with 2 screws . Are you sure the screw on the engine compartment is not covered up with gunk?.
