Electric door locks on a Liberty

Both of the driver side door locks are going out. Anyone else dealt with these things? I called the stealership and they want 100.00 for the part and another 200.00 each to replace them. Oh and they are VIN specific. I want to get the parts and replace them myself. Whoever the engineer was who figured out that buy having the locks fail would generate 1500.00 per Liberty was a genius!

It's not that difficult to replace them. See if you can get the dealership to give you the part number and then look for it on ebay. Then, we can guide you to the replacement procedure.
