Easy Question About Handles

I started the daunting task of replacing the handles on the Jeep the other day when I came across a problem. What kind of adhesive should I use for the outside of the handle, the handle to gasket, and gasket to door? I tried JB weld and it seemed to hold, but then today they were half fallen off. Is this because it is so stinking cold and the epoxy didn't bond right, or did I do something completely wrong.

I don't think there's any bonding agent out there strong enough to withstand the abuse from a door handle. I've used the Locktite metal epoxy before and that didn't last very long at all. I ended up just replacing the entire door handle assy.
