Don't deal with "pak-n-ship" on eBay

I won a Fender Bass guitar off eBay from pak-n-ship. It arrived damaged. The guy claims the neck was striaght, but it wasn't. The neck was loose and bowed, and the pickups buzzed. The guy was a real A-hole when I contacted him about it. I took the guitar to a music store and they adjusted the neck for $20. Sounds great now. I asked him to send me the $20 and of course he said it was fine when it left his store, sold as-is, and it's on me. So just for future reference, DON'T DEAL WITH THIS A-HOLE!

did you file a complaint with Ebay and did you have it insured?

I paid for priority shipping w/insurance. I didn't get any insurance info from the shipper or the shipping company. It's not a big deal, I'm just a little ****ed that it arrived not as described, and the guy won't do anything about it. It plays fine after the neck adjustment, but I had to pay extra for that. I guess that old saying "Buyer beware" applies to this situation.
