Disk brake conversion

Anyone ever done a disk brake conversion? Is it worth it?

never done it... but i've read good things and would love to do it on mine. you can either buy aftermarket products specifically for your vehicle, or pull components off another vehicle and use them on yours (GC to cherokee for example).

I understand the disk breaks off a Ford Exploder are nearly a direct bolt on. Have not done it myself just hear say.

Yeah that makes sense. The Exploder has a rear end that matches up to an XJ pretty nice. Alot of people have done complete swaps with the hardest thing to do is relocating shock mounts.

It's worth it. Check out the ZJ for a good donor for rear disc brake parts on jeep axles.
