Difference between a '00 Cherokee Sport, Classic & Limited?

i think you even got them in order:

-sport is the base model
-classic is in the middle
-limited is the leather/power everything model...[addsig]

The classic can have everything the limited has. I remember a friend of mine had a 00 classic and it had...I want to say full time 4wd and I think the suspension was different. I have to think about it a little more. But I dont think the classic was middle of the road

Ok that makes sense, Sport, then Classic, then Limited but the Classic can be optioned to look like a Limited.
Now someone said that there were different all wheel drive systems within the range, can someone elaborate?

Thanks[addsig]

i've seen two of the types of 4wd here... one is a shifter that goes like this:

4 hi

Neutral

4 Lo

which is crappy because you do'nt have many options, and gas mileage suffers with running 4 wheels all the time. there is no PART TIME so getting stuck is much easier as well.

another setup is: (the one that i have, which is preferred the offroad community)

2HI
4 Hi Part time (good!)
4 HI Full time (for slick streets, also very nice)
-Neutral
-4 Lo Part time (for slower speed crawling)[addsig]

Actually, If you have the NP231 Transfer Case with the "Command-Trac" system, it ONLY has PART TIME In all 4x4 positions. The shifter pattern is:

2HI
|
4HI (Part Time Hi)
|
N (Neutral)
|
4LO (Part Time Low)
