death wobble

Check your track bar bolt. make sure the bolt hole is not out of round, even if its tight.
Also check your ball joints, wheel hubs. How much tread is left on yous tires? I had a 06 TJ that would do this everytime the tread would get low. I talking way less then half.

I say thread is bout 50%. I check everything under there and nothing loose. But do here a slight popping when I turn. Steering stabalizer is blown out and steering shaft does have some play in it tho

Just because every bolts is tight, that means nothing. You have to pull what your looking at off the jeep to check the bushings. Be it a track bar or the controle arms.
If your getting a popping sound when you turn, check your front u-joints

Im gona do that as soon as I scrape all the mud out of the rear wheels

Well, that's the FIRST thing to do. Pressure wash your wheels - get ALL the mud out of there. Amazing what a little bit of mud will do.......

Well the death wobble was there b4 the mud. But I'm gona switch the rear wheel to to the front but first I needed to scrape the mud of to make sure there is no imbalance. Also may replace the ball joints cuz I hear "popping"

I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo and it Wobbles at higher speeds on the interstat at bridges and dips in the road. I have replaced the stabalizer shock the trac bar and stabalizer bar and tyrods checked the Control arms and also that all the bolts are tight. I heard of a sual stabalizer shcok but dont know where to find it or what else to try to stop the vibration. Any ideas

As aggravating as it is, your goal should be to correct the Death Wobble, not mask it. While I am a fan of the use of steering stabilizers as that last bit of finesse to overall good steering/handling, rigs the size of our Jeeps certainly do not need a dual stabilizer. Again, if you are using one to mask a problem then you are really on dangerous ground, need to stop and actually find and correct the problem.

A list of things to inspect has already been provided in previous posts in this thread but I'll add a few more articles that do a good job at providing trouble-shooting steps to alleviate this problem...
