Dash tray replacement

Hey you all. The previous owner of my 06 TJ had a XM radio receiver mounted with adhesive to the dash tray. Needless to say as I was trying to remove it, I destroyed the tray! My question... Can I replace the tray (is it an independent piece of the dash? Or, are the aftermarket trays pretty reliable and do they just screw into the existing (damaged) tray? Thanks!

On my 05 TJ there is a rubber piece that sits in the tray (you just remove and clean this part instead of the whole dash). It's part 9 in the diagram and you can get it here:

Thanks, Terry. The rubber piece was missing. I have ordered an aftermarket piece that I hope works. Not too much other help offered from this forum. I thank you for yours.
