reliable for what? So you're saying that the dana 44 isn't much stronger than a dana 30? That doesn't sound right. what are your reasons behind this? I also want to add dana 60 knuckles to the d44 and a warn hub conversion, with warn axles and CTM u joints.
The D30 has been proven reliable in a lot of wheelin conditions across the country. My understanding of the fakeD44 in the Rubi's is that it has the same thin axle tubes and same knuckles as the D30. The Fake D44 in the rear is the same way with the D35. You're just not gaining a lot except maybe for ring and pinion strength. Better off getting a non-Rubi D44 and going from there.
