Has anyone installed oil or tansmission coolers? I heard that they're a good way to add to the life of your engine and trans. Just wondering cause it seems like a good idea especially for the price. The trans cooler might come in handy wheelin.

transmission cooler is only needed in autos i belive.... if u have an auto.... get one moday if you like to wheel, and u like your transmission

A transmission exturnal cooler is a good investment if you have an automatic transmission and you do some hard core wheeling. I.E. Sand and rock Crawling. While adding a transmission cooler I would also recoment a larger transmission pan at this time. With adding one to two extra quarts of transmission fluid to your ride you garentee enough fluid in the pan to prevent "wash-out" where your on a steep incline and dont have enough fluid to power your torque converter. you can find at your local off-road shop.

Yes it is for auto's only ...oil cooler nothing wrong with that.....
