i'm a little confused here... i'll drive and drive and drive.. up hill, rev high, rev low, idle, everything... the temp never goes above 210... but i find my coolant boiling out of the reservoir when i turn it off sometimes... the level is not too high, i have the right mixture... anyone think of what could be happening?[addsig]

check the cap on your radiator. May need to be replaced. If it is not sealed correctly, it may be giving you false readings.-al[addsig]

if cap isn't keeping the system pressurized, the water will boil at 212. I'd buy a new cap and see what happens. 8-) [addsig]

Sometimes it is normal to get a little boil over. If you drive for awhile and just shut off the vehicle without letting idle for a little bit. The tempature rises after a vehicle is shut off. Do you have to add cooloant? Are you the only owner? Jeeps have big coolant resevoirs maybe somone put in a smaller after market tank and it can't hold all the coolant. Is the coolant boiling out through the radiator cap or the top of the coolant resevoir tank. If its the radiator it is the cap if it is the tank there is to much coolant in the tank or the overflow hose in the tank does not go all the way to the bottom of the tank allowing it to suck back the coolant into the radiator. :-? Hope this helps![addsig]
