Compatable Fluids - ATF

What transmission fluids replace the Mopar stuff, or are compatable with it? Which ones are not?

i THINK i just used regular ATF+3 in my old jeeps' auto trany... i'm assuming you're talking about an auto transmission right?

(i used pennzoil synchromesh in my 5 speed transmission)

You have to use the ATF+3 or the electronic transmission won't know what to so with the new fluid and anyway if you try to replce the new fluid and it has alot of milage on that fluid then be preparred to buy a new transmission, its a chrysler thing that why i went with the 5 speed transmission, the newer autos take +4 just check the dipstick t should say what fluid it is
